Description
90° diverters are installed between two transport systems to shift the pallet and change the front side with respect to the transport line.
The 90° diverter is basically composed of:
– metal framework that has been suitably stiffened,
– a lever mechanism, generally driven by a pneumatic cylinder or sometimes by a motorised system, that moves the chains upwards or downwards in the moment in which the pallet is picked and placed;
– a set of chains, driven by a motor, rotate to convey the pallet from one transport system to the next.
