Description
The conveyor belt consists of a suitably stiffened metal structure, the ends of which feature two rollers. The belt is fastened to the rollers to transport the product carried. The material used for the belt, its shape and size depend on the product to transport. One of the two rollers is connected to a gear motor that drives the belt. On the end opposite to the motorised roller, you will find the idle roller.
Conveyor belts are generally used for transporting bulk or packed products (boxes, bundles, sacks, etc.).
Conveyor belts can be fitted with accessories (pneumatic backstops, centring devices, weighing systems, etc.).
